Redwood National and State Park

We’re in the Redwoods National Park!

After a late start, short Walmart trip, gas fill-up and 3 hours of driving, we finally get to our campsite. After only two attempts into our spot, we leveled and set up. We’ll be here for two nights so it won’t be a long stay so no lights or other lawn decor.

Here are a few pictures from our first day roaming Stout Memorial Grove. We could not believe how big these trees were. We enjoyed a nice scenic drive on Howland Hill Road.

Below: Jared had to clear this path for us to get through.

We had a leisurely day with the short walk around the grove. We headed back home and had dinner and organized our rig a little more. So far, so good.

Love all those trees. As a kid mom and Dad took us camping to these areas and simply fell in love with the Giants! I especially love the picture where Jared is clearing the path between two trees!!

Your campsite looks so cozy. By the way Jared your prowess is very impressive.
