Our campground was in Acworth, GA. About 40 minutes north of Atlanta, Georgia.
We had to drive through Atlanta traffic to get to our campground.

We got to our campground in the dark! It was a paved area with some confusing one-way roads. We had to maneuver the trailer up a small inclined driveway backwards for our site. It was difficult since it was dark but we were able to get leveled and straightened out. We awoke the next morning to a beautiful campground with a nice private site.
The next morning, we were exhausted! We were planning on heading into Atlanta, Georgia the next day, but I felt sick so we ended up staying in in the area.

We were thoroughly surprised with the view we had from our campsite though!

We decided our Atlanta trip would become an Acworth trip. We stayed nearby and just enjoyed our time.
We went into the town nearby and enjoyed our time at the movie theater. (We watched Fantastic Beasts!) The theater wasn’t too busy since it was a week day afternoon.
We had an early dinner (our favorite! Taco Bell) before finishing up our errands for the day. We stopped at the Kroger’s for preparation for Thanksgiving. We were in luck and found everything we needed!
The campground was great! The sites were huge and ours was close to the water. The campground was clean and beautiful.
The next day was also the day Jared decided he would caulk Aljo’s roof. No more roof leaks for us!

I know what you’re thinking, ‘how is Jared going to get up there?’
By sheer strength!
We didn’t have a ladder but Jared was able to hoist himself up by stepping on the spare tire on the back of the trailer and using me as a pushing off point. It wasn’t great but we made due.
You know what they say, ‘What goes up must come down.’ And it was a sight to see. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any pictures of that. I was too worried about him not falling.
After all the work Jared did, we went out to buy our food for our mini Thanksgiving feast.
We rested up a bit more before dinner time. Jared helped make some fast and easy enchiladas.

Enchiladas were one of our go-to meals. They were easy and delicious. Cheese, tortillas, and enchilada sauce!
We enjoyed our laid back day.
